Range Rover Electric Car Maintenance Schedule

It’s easy to stay on top of the Range Rover electric car maintenance schedule when you know what Range Rover EV routine maintenance is needed. Here’s where to start.

  • Battery Checks – The battery is such an integral component of an electric vehicle, which is why we highly recommend inspecting the battery often. This is more true if your vehicle is equipped with a lithium-ion pack. Most Westminster drivers can expect to get 100,000 miles or more out of the battery, but making sure everything is running smoothly can help you catch small problems before they turn into serious issues.
  • Brake Fluid Replacement – Regular oil changes are not part of the Range Rover electric car maintenance schedule, but brake fluid replacement is included. Have the brake fluid replaced every 3-5 years. Replace the brake fluid sooner if you notice that the brake warning light is flashing on your driver information cluster.
  • Coolant System Maintenance – A majority of the electric vehicles on Littleton roads are outfitted with special thermal management or cooling systems that ensure proper battery function. To see when coolant system maintenance is recommended for your vehicle, we recommend looking at your owner’s manual.
  • Tire Rotation – Another important part of Range Rover EV routine maintenance is tire care. EVs are usually much heavier than gasoline-powered vehicles of a similar size because they have a much bigger battery pack. A tire rotation is recommended every 5,000 to 10,000 miles.
  • Wheel Alignment – Schedule a wheel alignment every 15,000 miles. This service boosts mile range and reduces tire tread wear.
  • Air Filter Replacement – Reduce the amount of pollen, road dust, dirt, and other harmful contaminants that get inside your vehicle by replacing the air filter every 2-3 years. Specialty air filters can last as long as 5 years.
